The Best Network Marketing Companies Are The Ones That Suit Your Lifestyle And Values

Since I spend quite a bit of time on the Social Networking sites, I sometimes get folks asking for my opinion on different Network Marketing companies. I get asked ALOT about the different Compensation Plans of the various companies.

I think you'll probably agree that there are a bunch of really good Networking Companies and some that are, shall we say, questionable. Here's what I look for:

How long has the company been in business? Anytime there's a start-up company, the buzz makes it's way around, especially on the internet. Things like "You have to get in on the ground floor to make the BIG money", "take advantage of the spill over, get in now before it's too late" and all the other "before it's too late" stuff".

While hype sells, at first, it's the stability of the company and who's running it that determines whether the company even makes it past the first 3-5 years. A lot don't and leave thousands of very disappointed people in the dust.

The theory that you can only make money in a ground floor opportunity just doesn't hold water when you look at companies like Amway, Nuskin, Shaklee and Mannatech. There are folks there who build their business the old school and new school way and making a fabulous income. Sure, some of them have been at it for years, but with the help of the internet and Internet Network Marketing, some newbies are doing very well, too.

Choose a company that has a product you love and are proud to stand behind. Think of all the great things your product has done for you. Has it improved your health? Given your family a sense of security? Made your skin look and feel great? Is it unique to the marketplace? Those are the things you can really speak to and will keep you in business for the long haul.

Compensation plans are great and we all want to be paid for what we do, but if a company has a same product that someone could get at the local drug store, why should they buy it from a network marketing company? The really cool thing about Network Marketing is that the products are for the most part unique. If no one else has what you've got, you automatically have an edge on the competition.

Do your research. Is the company focused mainly on recruiting or product sales? This is a biggie. One of the definitions of a genuine Network Marketing company is that at least 70% of the product is sold to end product users. Anything less than that (in other words, the distributors are buying most of the product) and that's considered a pyramid. When that happens, run. No company can sustain itself if it's own people are the only ones buying the products. Doesn't say much for the product either.

Those are just a few of the things to look for when you're looking for a Network Marketing "home". A strong company with exceptional leadership, a unique product you're proud to market and a strong emphasis on product sales to the general public. Put all those qualities together and you'll have a business that will have you smiling all the way to the bank.
